Discord & Dragons Bot Setup guide

Creating and inviting a bot.

In order to setup this application you or a moderator in your Discord server must set up and activate a bot.

Make a note of and keep this bot token safe as you will need it in order to ensure the application is setup to use your bot. Only share this token to people you trust!

Getting Server, Channel and User ID's

In order for the bot to know which server and channel to push messages to it will require a few ID's.
To get these ID's, you or someone in your Discord (preferably the bot owner) will need to enable developer mode.
Then you can right click on the server icon and click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the menu.
Paste this into the "Server ID" section.

Repeat this process for the Channel ID. Right click on the channel and then click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the menu and paste this into the Channel ID section.

In order to determine which user is your DM, click on the Member List of the Discord server and then right click on the member who is to be the DM. Click "Copy ID" at the bottom of the menu and paste this into the Channel ID section

Share these codes with the people you are playing with so that all of your rolls will be put into the right place.

(Pro tip: Make a channel just as a roll dump so the rolls don't get lost and people can mute it if they want to)

That's everything!

You should be all setup to play! Enjoy and please give any feedback you may have!
